Website Manager – International Women’s Forum – Washington

About the Position:
As part of our Digital Future Initiative, which will ensure that IWF is prepared to operate with impact and excellence in the virtual world, The International Women’s Forum (IWF) is currently redesigning its public website and member portal to better reflect our mission of advancing women’s leadership and championing equality worldwide. To assist in this objective, we seek a full-time Website Manager, proficient in WordPress, to maintain IWF’s web infrastructure. He/she will maintain web infrastructure, content, and design and ensure that the website is secure, functional, accurate, and up-to-date.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Review and update web content daily.
Upload, edit, catalog, and organize all media files.
Identify site performance metrics that influence how we engage audiences around women’s leadership.
Create a seamless user experience for our target audiences: members, Leadership Fellows, sponsors, and the general public.
Install and keep all necessary WordPress plugins up to date.
Implement appropriate security measures that safeguard IWF member data and websites.
Communicate who we are and what we do to outside partners and vendors to determine the best possible digital solutions for IWF platforms.
Maintain website and member portal in collaboration with external developers.
Maximize all user experience and accessibility best practices; analyze and recommend improvements.
Manage all taxonomies (categories, tags, etc.)
Collaborate effectively with stakeholders including leadership, management team, and members.
Ensure that office computers or telephonic devices are productively deployed.
Provide laptop support for a mix of Windows PCs, Macs, and Mobile Devices.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience/Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Web administration or related fields.
5+ years of relevant web development and technical experience.
Fluency with markup and programming languages including HTML, XML, Java, and CSS.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and other related software.
Advanced Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console skills.
Fluency in Hotjar and other UX/UI site testing tools.
Knowledge of WPML plugin a plus.
Knowledge of Salesforce Experience Cloud.
Ability to multi-task, and work well under pressure.
Thorough understanding of website technology and administration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time position and can be hybrid or remote. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, with office hours during the day. The candidate must be fluent in English and must have a high degree of integrity and work ethic.
