Group Administrator – The Ridhwan Foundation – Berkeley

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
· Support day-to-day administration of the group.
· Work closely with lead teachers to prepare, automate, send, and respond to student communications in timely ways.
· Meet regularly with group teachers to assist with group planning, scheduling, projects, and other activities
· Provide online technical support for students/prospects.
· Organize and maintain records for students at all levels of membership in Excel and internal CRM.
· Use Ridhwan Foundation website to manage group activities, including updating group web pages, tracking online registrations and group membership, and coordinating/hosting Zoom events in concert with lead teachers.
· Manage bookkeeping/finance for the group, including processing teacher payroll and group expenses, student payments, invoicing, financial reporting, and accounting system entries. Works closely with accounting department and Group Program Manager to verify accuracy.
· Participate in annual program budget preparation. Provide timely reports for budget status.
· Oversee Academy scholarship program fund for each group; report available funds to program directors and lead teachers.
· Coordinate/interface with other Ridhwan Foundation staff as needed, including use of inter-departmental messaging tool (Slack).
· Manage team of student work trade participants, including maintaining role descriptions and proper training to ensure timely completion of tasks.
· Track and collect annual student membership payments.
· Other job-related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
· Minimum 3 years of relevant administrative and/or program management experience.
· Skilled in MS Office Suite, including strong Word and Excel skills.
· General tech savviness and ability to pick up and navigate new technology with an eye towards optimizing workflows.
· Experience with online platforms and tools, including Zoom, Google Docs, cloud-based file sharing, and others.
· Knowledge of basic accounting principles, and familiarity with accounting software.
· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, including communication of technical concepts to people who do not share that expertise.
· Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to manage complex details.

Benefits
Currently, the Ridhwan Foundation offers pro-rated sick time for employees at a rate of 1 hour / 30 hours worked. The Foundation does not provide healthcare benefit plans. This position is eligible to participate in the Foundation’s 403b retirement savings plan.
