SEO Manager – The Emirates Group – Dubai – UAE

Responsibilities
Lead SEO keyword research and content modeling for WW and our clients
Create and present data-driven content marketing strategies for client implementation, including outlining editorial calendars to drive content production
Audit client websites for technical SEO elements and provide recommendations for addressing high-priority errors and issues
Architect taxonomy for content libraries on websites to enhance content discovery through both navigation and search
Create and present information and strategies for improving client structured data and search snippet performance; implement schema on client websites
Find insights in Organic traffic using Google Analytics (Universal Analytics and GA4) and other available data
Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in on-page and off-page SEO best practices and share learnings with the WW Content/SEO teams
Lead our team in developing efficiencies and strategies around emerging technologies, including AI and ChatGPT

Client Account Management: Serve as the direct point of contact for nonprofit clients and lead the client team in developing and delivering marketing and advertising services
People management: Act as the direct manager for employees on the Advertising team
Business development: Support our business development efforts, including communicating with potential leads, joining pitch calls, and drafting proposals for new work
Product leadership: Support our product team in managing WW products (like Whole Whale University and WWU Live) and/or in pitching and developing new products (like our new Inclusivity Tool) that support our nonprofit partners
Whole Whale marketing: Build, scale and produce WW content (site resources, videos, social content, etc.) and find other creative ways of marketing our services and products
Internal operations: Take part in internal processes for hiring new team members, choosing client projects to work on, building WW culture, cultivating internal expertise, or participating in other internal systems

Qualifications
Strong understanding of SEO and content marketing best practices
Fluency with SEO tools (e.g. Moz / SEMRush / Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Google Trends)
Familiarity with structured data/schema strategies and common implementation tactics
Content writing & editorial/copywriting experience and a meticulous editorial eye a plus
2+ years of professional experience, especially in roles involving digital marketing and/or project management with a high bar for rigor, quality, and integrity
Interest in ChatGPT and using AI for content generation
Demonstrated experience effectively managing project workflows independently
Comfortable moving seamlessly from big picture strategy to supporting on tactical implementation when needed
Creative problem-solver driven by a need to look to the data, iterate, think outside the box, and try new things to deliver even better results
Great attention to detail and organizational skills – able to successfully and independently manage multiple projects at once

Full-Timer Benefits
Every full-time hire undergoes a three-month “swim test” but is eligible to enroll in core benefits like health, vision, and dental care right away. Base salary for entry-level roles starts at $45k.
Whole Whale’s full awesome benefits for full-time employees include:

401k with 4% company match: Whole Whale matches up to 4% of salary contribution.
Student loan assistance: After 1 year, whalers can receive up to $600/yr ($50 off their monthly payments) to support paying off their student loans (up to $1800/yr after 3+ yrs).
Commission: Whalers can earn a 5% commission fee up to $5,000 for any new business they generate.
Work abroad month: After 2.5 years, full-time employees have the opportunity to work abroad for up to one month. Includes a reduced 4-day work week and up to $2,500 towards the trip cost (reputable remote work partners provided).
Paid parental leave: New parents can take up to 12 weeks of paid leave to be with their new child. After that, up to 3 months of unpaid leave or flexible time can be arranged.
