DESCRIPTION:
The Education Coordinator must enjoy working within a small staff that is member-focused, results-driven, and fast-paced. This position’s responsibilities primarily include coordinating educational efforts based on ISPI’s mission and vision: The Certification (CPT) program, Award of Excellence Program, assist with Conferences and events; facilitate educational webinars, liaise with ISPI Committees, and assist with ISPI publications. They will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The Education Coordinator should be a highly motivated, well organized, self-starting individual with experience in using Citrix web applications, social media platforms, and Mail Chimp. This part-time position (15-20 hours/week) will work out of our Silver Spring, Maryland office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Manage Certification (CPT) program
· Manage Award of Excellence Program
· Coordinate educational webinars via Go to Webinar
· Assist with ISPI publications, including a monthly newsletter and two journals
· Produce and maintain email and social media marketing content for ISPI educational initiatives
· Liaise with ISPI Committees
· Manage multiple email inboxes for the Society
Assisting with Annual Conference, meetings, and other events
Providing general administrative support for office such as answering telephone calls, redirecting calls, taking and conveying accurate messages, processing incoming and outgoing mail and e-mail, maintaining office files and other resource document files, and providing additional support as needed.
Assist the Executive Director to advance the organization
Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
· Candidates must have at least 1 years of experience in administering certification or accreditation programs
· Candidates must have at last 1 year experience in managing an annual award or similar program
· Candidates must have at least 1 years of experience in working with publications
· Candidates must have at least 1 year experience in managing online webinars for a broad audience
· Proficiency Citrix web applications, social media platforms, and Mail Chimp required
· Experience with iMIS a plus
· Non-profit and membership experience a plus
· Exceptional client and customer service
· Ability to manage a broad set of responsibilities and tasks
· Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment that requires strong multitasking skills, excellent time management, and self-starter mentality
· Adaptable to change
· Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and follow up, and able to work in a team environment
· Excellent interpersonal skills, strategic thinker, and results-oriented
· Ability to work under pressure, communicate effectively, and meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
