New Orleans Charter Science and Mathematics High School (Sci High) is an open enrollment, public charter high school that has been leading and developing students in academic achievement for 23 years in New Orleans, LA.

Sci High provides a rigorous high school curriculum with an emphasis in additional STEM and open-enrollment Advanced Placement courses. We are a committed group of faculty; our team works collaboratively in supporting student access to high level instruction and personal growth. Sci High is seeking a dedicated and driven high school Spanish teacher to join a collaborative community of educators at our school. An ideal Sci High Spanish candidate will be an educational professional focused on student development, relationship building, and achievement.

Additionally, our Spanish teacher will be excited to teach both language and culture through project-based learning and engaging lessons via frequent student practice and engagement. Foreign Language teachers have the opportunity to travel outside of the country with students for educational immersion in global travel. In recent years, our students enrolled in Spanish classes have traveled to Peru and Panama.

Our Mission: New Orleans Charter Science and Mathematics High School is an open-admission public charter school that prepares all students for college admissions and successful careers. Sci High provides a rigorous high school curriculum with an emphasis in science and mathematics in a supportive environment of learning and respect that prepares students to make informed choices about post-secondary pursuits.
