We are currently seeking a talented, experienced, full-time Project Coordinator, Education Content, to join our dynamic education team. The Project Coordinator will support the Education Content Team, primarily focused on Common Sense Graphite, our teacher-facing platform where we rate and review educational technologies for learning potential and educational use. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work on a premier service that reaches more than 100,000 schools, more than 300,000 educators, and countless students.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As Project Coordinator, you’ll be the backbone of our Graphite platform, creating and managing the behind-the-scenes processes and databases that drive our content. This is an ideal role for a passion-driven fixer: someone galvanized by mission-based work but with a knack for diagnosing problems and improving efficiencies and workflow. You’ll support a range of teacher-facing edtech content, from our editorial reviews and Top Picks lists to our online curricula and professional development. You’ll work most closely with the content team while also collaborating with our marketing and product development teams. While project management makes up the bulk of the role, there are opportunities for big picture and creative work including weighing in on strategic plans and authoring original content for our large, growing audience of educators and developers.

KEY DECISION MAKING

Manage Google-based editorial databases and facilitate transition of these databases to Salesforce
Analyze and report weekly traffic/usage analytics
Manage and improve review updates process
Act as the point-of-contact for review requests and manage the process to fulfill these requests
Maintain reviews and Top Picks taxonomy and metadata
Organize and administer reviewer trainings
Create weekly Top Picks blog articles in coordination with editors
Contribute to other Education Content initiatives as needed

WHAT WE NEED TO SEE ON YOUR RESUME

Bachelor’s degree required
Demonstrated experience planning projects and creating and managing efficient processes and workflows
Experience with content management and editorial work a plus
Familiarity with and love for K-12 education and technology
Solid writing skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, and Sheets
Proficiency in Google Analytics a plus
Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Extremely keen attention to detail
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, highly focused, highly productive environment
