We’re looking for a Communications & Public Relations specialist who can do amazing things as well – with words in particular; someone who is a self-starter who loves to write, enjoys working with media professionals, and has a passion for public relations.

Alongside the Girl Scout Council’s communications and marketing department, the specialist will be responsible for assisting with public relations efforts including written press releases and publication production, as well as helping to create content for digital channels including the council website and blog.

This position is well suited for a student/recent graduate eager for hands-on experience or the professional seeking a part-time position with a non-profit communications team. Based out of the Girl Scouts Raleigh Service Center, this position is part-time, non-exempt (15-18 hours per week). A working knowledge of AP style is preferred.
