Northwest Regional Primary Care Association is a membership association of community and migrant health centers in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. NWRPCA’s mission is to strengthen community and migrant health centers in the Northwest by leveraging regional power and resources on their behalf.

Position Summary:
The Marketing and Web Coordinator is a key member of the Development and Communication program, working in conjunction with the Development & Communication Manager and Member Services Coordinator to provide leadership and creative expertise for all the Association’s marketing and branding needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with Development and Communication Manager and CEO to develop an overall marketing and branding strategy for the Association that is aligned with the two-year strategic plan.
2. Plan and create web-based, print and social media marketing deliverables for all programs.
3. Maintain the Association web site; provide ongoing monitoring, updating and improvement.
4. Use metrics to provide leadership and advice on market forecasting, building market share, segmenting target markets, and tracking return on marketing investment.
5. Accept requests for marketing assistance from program and project managers and work closely with them to develop and implement effective campaigns.
6. Develop methods for assisting staff in understanding and budgeting for their marketing needs.
7. Collaborate with Development and Communication team to conduct effective oversight of all public venues, including web site, e-newsletter and social media sites, especially in light of member needs.
8. Play a key role in helping to produce important Association documents as requested.
9. Work with graphic designers and printers.
10. Maintain an inventory of brand-imprinted items for give-aways.
11. Help plan and staff an exhibit several times per year on behalf of NWRPCA as requested.
12. Maintain marketing files and archives for Association and all its programs.
13. Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Required
1. Bachelor’s degree or certification in marketing.
2. Portfolio of successful marketing projects.
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong editing and proofreading skills, and demonstrated ability to produce high-quality written materials for specific target audiences.
4. Mastery of MS Office and demonstrated expertise with Adobe Creative Suite.
5. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
6. Responsive to changing management priorities and able to adjust day-to-day work activities accordingly.
7. Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
8. Ability to work effectively as a team member.
9. Must be flexible, resourceful, self-motivated, able to carry a heavy workload and committed to social justice.
10. Demonstrated awareness of the value of diversity and a commitment to cultural competency in the workplace.

Preferred
1. Certification in web development or web design or a closely related area.
2. Marketing experience in community health, policy/advocacy organizations or nonprofit associations.
3. Possesses some (not all) of these special marketing skills: graphic design; social media; email marketing; Internet marketing; e-newsletters; event promotion; web development and/or management, database management, HTML and/or other coding knowledge.

Physical Requirements:
1. Most time spent sitting, with up to one-third of time walking or standing. There are no restrictions on ability to interrupt periods of sitting.
2. Manual dexterity required for typing, filing, etc.
3. Minimal lifting.
4. Vision requirements as appropriate for working on computer and with typed and handwritten materials.
5. Ability to drive / travel to meetings in a variety of locations statewide; e.g., community health centers, conferences, etc., many out-of-state and some national meetings; to travel up to 10% for site visits, preparatory meetings, and event implementation.
