Community Youth Services is recruiting for a full-time Therapist for its Transition Aged Youth (TAY) program. The TAY Therapist will provide home, school and community based clinical services to young people between the ages of 15 and 24 in Thurston and Mason counties. This position will be located in Mason County.

Qualifications
A Master’s Degree in Counseling or related field plus two years of experience providing clinical services; Washington State Mental Health Professional credential (MHP);
Washington State Licensure through the Department of Health as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
OR

An Associate license in any of the above.

Experience in Assessments, Crisis Management and Clinical Documentation;

Preferred Experience with:
Providing counseling services to adolescents and young adults and their families, with a strong track-record of effectively engaging youth in services.
Working within multiple systems including: Juvenile Justice, Mental Health, Community and natural supports for families, Schools, the Division of Children and Family Services (DCFS), Medical, etc.,
Cultural issues related to marginalized youth and young adults.
The legal system related to children and families including: dependency orders, juvenile court procedures, and DCFS procedures.

Must be able to work a somewhat flexible schedule with evenings and weekends appointments and to be on an on-call rotation schedule for crisis response.
