Utilization Review Specialist – Quality Improvement Department –Travel Required Throughout NYC

Seeking an experienced medical records professional to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements for PCMH’s Ambulatory and Residential programs (including Article 31 Outpatient Clinics, ACT Teams, Health Homes and Supported Housing). Generate Utilization Review reports, process corrective actions, provide guidance to staff on medical records functions and documentation requirements, respond to requests for information, and audit all necessary documents for timely and complete submission. Must be familiar with HIPAA standards, EHR (Foothold AWARDS) and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel. Preference given to applicant with Bachelor’s degree. Knowledge of OMH and DOHMH standards a plus.
