Registrar – The Concord Conservatory of Music – Concord, MA

The Concord Conservatory of Music seeks an energetic and hardworking individual, with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our school, and help guide the school in new initiatives and future expansion. The Registrar is a part-time position that will grow into a full-time position. The Registrar handles the day to day management and operations of the school registration process. This includes responsibilities for the front desk, database management, office and event support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Executes processes associated with annual enrollment to ensure maximum student placement, including registration mailings.
Communicates changes, updates and progress as needed to Executive Director, faculty, and finance manager to ensure smooth registration process.
Confirms the accuracy of student attendance taken online.
Provides finance manager with accurate data for payroll.
Ensures the integrity of both the registration database and the donor database.
Manages all aspects of the make-up lesson process to establish an accurate schedule of lessons to minimize confusion for students and faculty.
Manages space and room allocation.
Works with administration manager to maintain prospective student inquiries list.
Manages student scheduling, while maximizing placement.
Creates programs for all concerts and recitals.
Assists with additional projects and responsibilities on an as-needed basis.
Answers the phone, and acts as general office manager

Qualifications:

3years of relevant work experience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Ability to determine and implement appropriate decisions.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Non-profit experience a plus.

MuMust have a strong working knowledge of Excel.

This is an important frontline, position for the school, which requires a service oriented individual. The successful candidate will have the necessary interpersonal skills to work with parents, faculty and other community members.

The candidate will work a 30 hour week, but must be able to have some flexibility in the hours and be available for event work.
