Job description
The Southern Environmental Law Center (SouthernEnvironment.org) is seeking an experienced communications professional to join an organization successfully addressing some of the most important environmental issues facing the Southeast and the country.

We are looking for a smart strategist with a proven track record managing multi-channel communications campaigns and a minimum of seven years of communications experience. The ideal candidate will be an excellent writer and storyteller, have experience working with the media, and possess a strong personal commitment to SELC’s mission.

You will oversee communications for our work in Virginia and Tennessee, from messaging and media relations to digital and advertising strategies. Based in our Virginia office in Charlottesville, the position will include regular travel to our Nashville office. Every day will be fast-paced, challenging, interesting, and fun, and you will be joining a great, collaborative team.
