Responsibilities
Human Resources

Leads process of building a strong staff team including:
Hiring and managing an effective staff team across multiple states.
Ensuring that we are on the leading edge of legally compliant working environments that prioritize work/life balance.
Builds the infrastructure to support both advancing leadership and accountability.

Operations
Leads projects to build organizational infrastructure that leverages the potential of our work including:

Managing technology and information systems to advance programmatic goals and organizational sustainability.
Ensures high quality working environment for all staff.
Builds organizational practices that ensure organizational cohesiveness across geography.

Qualifications
Minimum 8 years experience in a leadership role in human resources
Minimum 5 years experience in organizational operations
Commitment to Forward Together’s mission and social justice
Demonstrated track record in effective personnel management
Demonstrated project management experience
Awareness of CRM strategies – although technical expertise is not required
Ability to lead effective teams that are detailed-oriented and results-driven
Experience working on behalf of diverse and underserved populations preferred
Good people and oral communication skills, and an infectious, positive attitude when talking about Forward Together’s work
Demonstrated track record of management-level responsibilities, including budget development and supervision
Demonstrated strategic thinking and leadership skills, including an awareness of organizational goals and priorities
Highly organized and systematic with superb time and project management skills and ability to juggle competing priorities and deadlines
Ability to work well in teams and use direct communication to express needs
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, web browsers, Gmail, Google Calendar and the basics of spreadsheet, database and video conferencing software
Experience with database development preferred, such as Salesforce and other Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) platforms
Ability to travel nationally and locally multiple times per year
