Job Description:
The Membership Manager will help City Parks Alliance expand and diversify its membership, support our strategic goals, build organizational strength and work towards a sustainable funding model. This is a full-time position. The Membership Manager will report directly to the Communications & Marketing Director.

Primary Responsibilities (with percentage of time):
1) Manage membership records using Salesforce and provide support to meet membership goals set by the CPA board of directors. (50%)
2) Implement member recruitment strategy including materials development, targeted social media strategies and events. (25%)
3) Provide general administrative support for the executive director and programs including the Membership & Development Committee and Board and Greater &Greener conference. (25%)

Core Functions:
1) Maintain and monitor membership records using Salesforce database, including serving as Salesforce administrator.
2) Oversee membership retention, recruitment, and support.
3) Organize member events and support special campaigns.
4) Support Membership and Development Committee.
5) Provide administrative support to the Board of Directors.
6) Generate appropriate reports for member and funder communications.
7) Maintain organizational records.
8) Develop and maintain promotional material.
9) Recruit and manage interns who will provide membership and development support.
10) Provide scheduled support and travel arrangements for Executive Director.
11) Oversee office management.

Qualifications and Skills:
1) Bachelor’s degree and two to four years experience in membership, development or communications.
2) Strong knowledge of and experience using Salesforce, demonstrated ability in data entry and database management, including creating mail merge letters and running reports.
3) Strong Microsoft Office and Google Apps skills.
4) Experience with Cvent, and HTML a plus.
5) Experience executing LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook marketing campaigns a plus.
6) Demonstrated customer service skills in dealing with a diverse constituency through a variety of media.
7) Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
8) Flexibility in adapting work capacity to the needs of the office and ability to work under deadlines and juggle multiple priorities.
9) Self starter, willing to take initiative.
10) Ability to travel occasionally.
11) Interest in urban parks/planning/design/environmental issues a plus.

Salary: Commensurate with experience
15 days per year vacation
1 day per month sick leave
