Junior Associate – Gonring, Spahn & Associates

Gonring, Spahn & Associates is a strategic consulting firm that specializes in government relations, issue advocacy, public relations and strategic philanthropy. Our clients include high net worth and high profile individuals, corporations, charitable foundations, trade associations and non-profit organizations seeking to expand their reach, deepen their impact and make a difference in their communities.

This position is a junior-level position responsible for providing support and project management to Associates and Vice Presidents on client accounts. This position drives the day-to-day operations, implementation and coordination of account activities. As part of a small firm, Junior Associates have the opportunity to work on a wide range of accounts and are exposed to multiple sectors.

Location
Universal City/Los Angeles, CA

Principle Activities
Conducting research and analysis on client accounts
Reviewing and responding to inquiries and proposals in various issue areas
Writing, editing and proofreading materials
Organizing and tracking information across multiple accounts
Monitoring media and social media coverage
Managing time sensitive projects across multiple client accounts

Qualifications
BA/BS with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in advocacy, public policy, philanthropy, communications and/or politics
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Access, Filemaker and Salesforce
Highly organized with strong time management skills and exceptional attention to detail
Team player with the ability to work with a wide range of team members, clients and the public
