PTC seeks its 1st full-time Development Director to work closely with the PTC executive team to plan, initiate and manage programs to fund its mission including securing funding from the public and private sector, foundations and agencies, initiating major gifts and planned giving program, and monitoring grants. Also oversee marketing, social media, and contact database. Familiarity with donor and revenue sources interested in free market solutions to poverty, the human potential and consciousness movements, women’s empowerment and Middle East peace, a plus. Flexible work environment can include home-based officing as D.O. need not reside in Austin where current headquarters are located. PTC operates in part as a virtual organization with a global footprint. Potential for professional growth and job advancement, e.g. executive director. Required: Bachelor’s degree, 5 years of development and grant writing experience in a donor cultivation environment and proven success securing grants from a variety of grantors; demonstrated successful experience and effectiveness in prospect identification; relationship building; solicitation; major campaign and event planning and management; social media fundraising, marketing and solicitation; and Board interaction.
