Office Coordinator, Counseling Department – Atlantic Street Center – Seattle, WA

Atlantic Street Center is a non-profit, social service agency serving the Seattle area for more than 100 years utilizing family-centered, community-based models.

We currently have an opening for an Office Coordinator in our Counseling Department. The Office Coordinator is the key first point of contact and acts as an ambassador of ASC services by receiving, welcoming and assisting participants, visitors, board and staff involved in ASC programs and services. The Office Coordinator acts as a hub by assisting/referring potential clients to ASC services; and supporting a wide variety of administrative and operational needs including phone and reception coverage, routing mail, supplies inventory and orders, word-processing, general clerical support, record-keeping, and billing assistance. The position requires superior daily attendance, self-initiative, and occasional after hours support.

Qualified candidates MUST have the following:

AA required, BA preferred
Minimum of three years’ experience as an Office Coordinator, Administrative Assistant, or related job.
Available every weekday. Able to work evenings as needed
Typing/word processing skills: 40 wpm
Strong knowledge of Office 365 suite
A professional manner, effective work relationship and customer service attitude for interaction with clients, co-workers, volunteers, partner agencies, donors, Board members, and the general public.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and ability to complete multiple tasks with efficiency, accuracy and agreed upon time even with temporary increases in workload.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; collaboration and team mentality
Respond quickly and efficiently to ever-changing situations: a high degree of flexibility.
Model appropriate and respectful conflict resolution skills. Manage difficult and stressful situations effectively and calmly.
Work with minimal supervision
