The Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle (JFGS) is looking for a motivated and engaged candidate to fill the position of Research & Evaluation Manager.

Position Overview

The Research and Evaluation Manager is central to the success of the Federation’s metric setting, measurement, and reporting impact by initiative to the community. Primary responsibilities are to manage the ongoing research commissioned by the Federation, work with the Strategic Planning Committee to determine research areas to be pursued, measure and report on metrics for all Federation programs, including its high impact investments. Reporting to the Director of Engagement and Impact Evaluation, the Research and Evaluation Manager will manage the relationships with the data vendors and ensure the measurable outcomes are documented to enable at least quarterly reporting to Federation stakeholders. QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree required

• Advanced degree preferred

• Experience developing and implementing qualitative and quantitative evaluation metrics

• Data management experience is preferred

• Exceptional analytical skills

• Excellent problem-solving ability and proficiency at developing solutions independently

• Strong critical thinking abilities

• Robust organizational and planning skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills; team player within a diverse working environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Must be able to exercise significant judgment and confidentiality in working with vendors, donors, volunteers, and JFGS staff

• Experience with nonprofit organizations a plus
