Invest in Girls is seeking a motivated part-time grant writer to help with researching, writing and editing grant proposals.
Position Summary: Primary duties are researching foundations and grant opportunities, writing proposals and letters of intent and any other duteis pertaining to the ongoing fundraising efforts of Invest in Girls.
Organization Profile: Invest in Girls was founded in 2010 by a group of women passionate about narrowing the gender gap in Financial Services leaders.We are a 501C3 whose mission is teaching high school girls financial concepts, exposes them to professional women role models, and introduces them to financial services companies and career paths in finance to empower them to become tomorrow’s leaders. Currently we have over 1250 girls learning financial concepts in 12 schools throughout the country.
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in progrees required.
• Experience in grant writing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in using the Internet as a research tool.
• Critical thinking skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
Invest in Girls is based in Boston however this position will be done from a remote location anywhere in the US.
There is a possibility of a stipend.
