ideaventions® is looking for full-time teachers for our STEM enrichment activities at our Science Center and at local schools. We are looking for teachers that are high-energy, enthusiastic, creative, possess a passion for science and technology education, and are looking to build a career with us. The position is to join our team, leading small-group STEM classes (labs) as part of our K-8 enrichment programs at area schools and at ideaventions.

Qualifications

Possess at least a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science, engineering, or education
Experience in electrical engineering a plus
Experience teaching children
Possess excellent communications and problem solving skills
Must understand and be able to explain science, engineering and technology concepts
Enjoys leading small-group, hands-on activities with creative and intellectually curious children
Available to work on Saturdays and/or Sundays a plus
Position requires walking and standing for extended periods of time and physical ability to setup classroom and take class materials to and from schools
Requires transportation to local schools
