Inclusion Networks Project Director – Support for Families of Children with Disabilities – San Francisco, CA

POSITION DESCRIPTION: San Francisco Inclusion Networks is seeking a Project Director to provide oversight and management of San Francisco Inclusion Networks. Responsibilities include supervising staff, developing and monitoring work plans and budgets, and coordinating and integrating program activities within the organization and throughout the San Francisco early childhood community.

San Francisco Inclusion Networks plans and implements training and capacity-building efforts to advance inclusive practices in early care and education settings throughout San Francisco and is funded by the Office of Early Care and Education and First 5 San Francisco. SF Inclusion Networks is a program of Support for Families, a non-profit organization that offers parent-to-parent support to families who have children with disabilities and information and educational services to families and the professionals who work with them.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of five years’ experience directing a project of similar size and scope
Demonstrated experience in using reflective supervision to develop and support a team
Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
Demonstrated commitment to the principles of inclusion of young children (0-5) with disabilities in community settings
Demonstrated experience in interagency collaboration and coordination in early childhood communities
Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based early childhood inclusive practices
Knowledge of family-centered services for families of young children with special needs and disabilities
Knowledge of and experience with best practices in training, technical assistance and coaching in early childhood settings
Strong work management and problem solving skills: ability to balance multiple priorities and tasks efficiently and effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
