Summary of Position:
The Program Assistant provides support to the Program team, helping to manage the communications, information, scheduling, meeting planning, finances, and research integral to Global Greengrants Fund’s international grantmaking programs.The position will provide administrative support to the Director of Programs, Deputy Director of Programs, Donor Advised Fund Manager, and overseas Field Coordinators.

Job Responsibilities:
Support the planning, travel, accounting, note-taking and general logistics for program meetings, retreats, and conferences in different parts of the world.
Support the planning, travel, accounting, logistics (including booking accommodations and flights) and information sharing with participants for donor travel to different parts of the world.
Assist Program team in scheduling meetings and activities, email correspondence, arranging travel, and tracking and reporting expenses.
Assist with developing and managing contracts with program consultants.
Organize and maintain shared files; develop and maintain systems for information exchange between Boulder office and field consultants and advisors.
Work with grant database to provide information for program staff, field coordinators and advisors.
Provide administrative assistance to the process of tracking and reviewing grant-related documents as well as summarizing grantee and evaluator reports.
Edit, proofread, and obtain translations of reports and documents for funders and external audiences.
Conduct periodic research into program-related topics, trends, and tools.
Manage various program-related projects requiring coordination with allies, advisors, and field consultants.
Work with other staff to ensure strong and effective communications between Boulder staff, overseas advisors, donors, and allies.
Support grantmaking due diligence processes for the donor advised program.
Assist with reporting to donors by writing grant summaries and providing other program and grant information.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree.
A minimum of three years of professional work experience in an administrative support role.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with people from different countries and cultures, especially by phone and email.
Strong organization and time management skills and attention to details.
Experience organizing meetings, arranging international travel, and managing budgets.
Ability to work as a part of a team and handle requests from multiple parties, often on tight timelines.
Strong writing, proofing and editing skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with database management.
A motivated self-starter who looks for ways to contribute to the organization’s mission and is happy to assist in whatever way possible.
Commitment to the Global Greengrants Fund’s mission and interest in environment and social change work.
Knowledge of one or more foreign languages is a plus.

Compensation:
Salary will be commensurate with experience. Benefit package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 403b retirement plan, and flex plan.
