Executive Assistant Focused on Fundraising for Dynamic NGO Transforming the Law – Earth Law Center – Durango

Responsibilities
Support, learn and collaborate with the executive director, board members, and program directors to build ELC’s financial capacity and scale its programs, including rights of nature, rights of future generations, nature governance, ecocentric policy development, and education. Specific duties include the following:
Research & submit grant applications.
Engage with current and potential founders in public and private sectors.
Develop document and data management systems
Engage in strategic planning
Answer emails, schedule meetings, and serve as the first point of contact to a wide variety of collaborators before the Executive Director.
Help manage volunteers & interns.

Compensation

Required Experience
2+ years of direct fundraising in nonprofit space
1+ years work in environmental or education space
Demonstrated understanding of current best practices in fundraising

Experience in raising capital in for-profit space

Positive attitude & sense of humor
