DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT

FULL-TIME SALARY RANGE: $41,984-$59,017/Year
DEPARTMENT: Development
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: VP of Development

OTHER: Part-time position, 22.5 Hours/Week

The Development Assistant will work as an integral team member and provide a wide range of administrative support to the Development Department. This is a part-time, benefits eligible position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
– Extensive data entry into RAISER’S EDGE, including constituent information and gifts; generate acknowledgement notes for donors on a consistent and timely basis
– Track and maintain all information in RAISER’S EDGE; maintain accurate backup of all pledges; generate reports as requested on the status of pledges
– Provide administrative and event support during the Annual gala; includes but not limited to Journal Ad tracking, Major Donor Action Step Tracking, Parlor RSVP tracking
– Reconcile records with Accounting team and providing requested information for auditing
– Generate invoices for pledges and other types of financial/analytical reports as requested; providing reports from Eventbrite during Justice Ball
– Provide clear and accurate back up donation reports when requested by donors and staff

QUALIFICATIONS
– A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or a minimum five (5) years administrative assistant/secretarial experience
– Proficiency in Raiser’s Edge is required. Working knowledge of PRIME is preferred
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
