Part-time Community Coordinator Intern

Length of time: January-June 2016

Pay: None

Location: Option to work remotely but it’s preferred that you can attend meetings within the Greater Hartford region (Connecticut).

Description:

The Trashion Fashion Show Hartford Community Coordinator intern should be interested in making and maintaining meaningful connections.

Responsibilities:

Working under and communicating directing with Trashion Fashion’s founder.
Helping to create partnerships with schools and like-minded organizations.
Assisting organizing our community projects.
Working directly with Team Trashion Fashion on our events.
Helping secure in-kind donations for events.
Attending local community events to cross promote and pollinate Trashion Fashion.
Recruiting and organize event volunteers

Must Have:

A desire to work for an eco and arts focused social good company
A passion for sustainability
A love for organization, especially with using cloud based systems such as Google Drive and DropBox
