Contracts / Compliance Manager – Compass Housing Alliance – Seattle, WA

POSITION: The Contracts and Compliance Manager oversees the performance reporting, renewal, and regular payment timelines for all program contracts for Compass Housing Alliance. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, this position also reviews and evaluates compliance issues/concerns within the organization. The position ensures that the Board of Directors, central management, and employees are aware of and in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies, funder contracts, and capital project agreements and that company policies and procedures are being followed; that internal measurements are collected as defined.

STATUS: Full Time, Exempt

HOURS: 40 Hours per Week

SCHEDULE: Days, Monday – Friday

SALARY: Within Compass ranges

REPORTS TO: Chief Operations Officer

QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor’s degree is required, master’s desired or relevant work experience, certificate and/or equivalent continuing professional development or education.
Minimum 5 years working with a nonprofit organization.
Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a complex contract and compliance environment with multiple funder requirements and audits.
Familiarity with government service provision contracts.
Familiarity with operational, financial, quality assurance, and regulations.
Familiarity with issues of homelessness, mental illness, substance abuse, sexual assault, and/or domestic violence, desired.
