Case Supervisor – CASA of Burlington County – Mount Holly, NJ

The Case Supervisor provides professional staff support to CASA volunteers ensuring that children involved with the CASA program receive sound advocacy and early permanency planning. The Case Supervisor is responsible for volunteer supervision and coordination of cases. Additionally, the Case Supervisor will assist with screening and training of community volunteers. In his/her role she/he will review new cases and assign appropriate volunteers to the cases; prepare and distribute assignment documentation; help develop initial case plans and on-going strategies for advocacy; review, edit and distribute volunteer court reports; maintain case files in electronic tracking system; attend court hearings and track court dates; provide ongoing assistance, resources and consultation for volunteers; assist volunteers and office in completion of volunteer/case stat sheets; conduct performance assessments of volunteers; conduct field visits with volunteers on their initial visits if requested; attend in-service trainings and professional development workshops. Bachelor’s degree in social service-related field or Masters in Social Work. Experience with volunteer management and/or the child welfare system a plus. Must have excellent writing, editing and organizational skills; comfortable entering case related data into electronic database; the ability to communicate with, supervise and empower volunteers to be effective in their roles and the ability to work cooperatively with different types of personalities.
