Executive Asistant – Stony Brook Millstone Watershed Association – Pennington, NJ

The <strong>Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association</strong> and it’s recently opened<strong> Watershed Center for Environmental Advocacy, Science and Education</strong>, a dynamic and multifaceted non-profit conservation organization, is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant to work in its Administration Department under the direction of the association’s Executive Director. <span>The Executive Assistant is a leadership position within the association that manages the Executive Director’s schedule, answers incoming calls to the E.D.’s office and the association, serves on the leadership team and assists the E.D. with correspondence, filing, meeting set-up, and all administrative support as needed. In addition, the executive assistant communicates on behalf of the E.D. to and from board of trustee members, volunteer committee and task force members, staff, donors, public officials, other constituencies and the general public. Written and verbal communication skills with the finest attention to detail are critical in carrying out the daily functions of this position.</span> Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s Degree

– 3 years of executive administrative support required

– Organizational and diplomatic skills, including the ability to communicate and schedule public and private meetings effectively to a wide range of audiences

– Experience working with non-profit boards

– Excellent written, verbal, listening and scheduling skills

– Computer skills including major software packages (MS Office and Google) and ability to master Donor Perfect data base software

– Strong team player and comfortable working to support multiple departments and frequent special events

– Basic knowledge and passion for addressing environmental issues facing central New Jersey
