JOB DESCRIPTION

The Community Marketing & Advocacy Manager (intern) will help lead efforts to communicate, educate, engage and, most importantly, grow Amplifyd’s user base through community engagement on our blog, via email marketing efforts, and through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and other social media channels, in addition to posting comments and responding to user’s inquiries. The Community Marketing & Advocacy Manager will also help indentify and research important issues, create new campaigns, and promote them to our community.

GENERAL CRITERIA FOR SELECTION

Enthusiasm and passion for marketing, technology, and progressive causes.
Appropriate academic backgrounds, interests, and possible career goals.
Available to work at least part-time (full-time preferable) during the summer.
Job requires specialized computer skills. Must be very comfortable using commonplace applications and programs.
Candidate must be highly active on social media.
Can structure time effectively while working remotely.
Bonus Skills: MailChimp, Photoshop, and HTML
