Senior Case Supervisor – CASA of Burlington County – Mount Holly, NJ

The Senior Case Supervisor provides professional staff support to CASA volunteers ensuring that children involved with the CASA program receive sound advocacy and early permanency planning. She/he also is responsible for volunteer supervision and coordination of cases. Aside from managing a caseload of volunteers, the Senior Case Supervisor also supervises the case supervisors in the Burlington office which entails leading staffings with the case supervisors; editing of all court reports; strategically planning for the children; providing on the job training for new case supervisors; helping develop initial case plans, and assisting with case assignments. Additionally, the Senior Case Supervisor will assist with screening and training of community volunteers;maintaining case files in electronic tracking system; attending court hearings and tracking court dates; attending meetings in the community; providing ongoing assistance, resources and consultation for volunteers and case supervisors; assisting case supervisors in completion of volunteer/case stat sheets; conducting performance assessments of volunteers and case supervisors; conducting field visits with volunteers on their initial visits if requested; attending in-service trainings and professional development workshops. Masters in Social Work preferred. Experience with volunteer management and/or the child welfare system a plus. Must have excellent writing, editing and organizational skills; the ability to communicate with, supervise and empower case supervisors and volunteers to be effective in their roles and the ability to work cooperatively with different types of personalities.
