School-based Mental Health Program Manager/Clinical Supervisor – Bay Area Community Resources

Duties and Responsibilities:
 Direct and lead a school base mental health program for the PUSD, serving students and
their in the Counseling Enriched Classrooms (CEC)
 Direct supervision of Mental Health three Clinical Staff and one Administrative Staff
 Provide once a week individual and group supervision for clinical staff.
 Make certain, clinical supervision is supported by a supervisory plan which identifies
skills, knowledge, and attitude that are the focus for professional development.
 Develop and maintain partnership with Contra Costa County and PUSD.
 Monitor staff’s clinical paperwork to assure it meets EPSDT/Medi-Cal standards
 Maintain proper operational controls. administrative and reporting procedures and
systems to meet and exceed the clinical and financial goals of the program
 Ensure that therapeutic activities include but are not limited to individual and family
therapeutic activities that are congruent with the client’s individual treatment plan
 Adherence to all regulatory guidelines, mandated reporting requirements, legal and
ethical standards, and program/agency protocols
 Adherence to all procedures and protocols related to EPSDT/Medi-Cal
 Develop linkages and working agreements with community programs that support our
client needs.
 Performance of other duties as directed by East Bay Programs Director

Qualifications:
 This position requires a clinical license (LCSW, MFT, PsyD or PhD in Psychology)
 Experience in a leadership/administrative role providing supervision and guidance to
mental health programs
 Knowledge and experience providing MediCal/EPSDT-funded mental health services to
children and families
 Demonstrated experience in Medi-Cal billing practices and paperwork review
 Experience and alignment with a culture of collaborative leadership
 Ability to balance reflective and directive leadership styles
 Experienced with in-home and community-based modalities
 Experience school based work in underserved communities
 Knowledge of Excel and ability to oversee many aspects of budget utilization
 Expert understanding of family centered, capacity-building, strength-based mental health treatment
 Understanding of DSM-5
 Excellent communication and organizational skills.
