Part Time Operations Manager – Climate and Community Project – San Franciso

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design systems for– and support– report processes, including but not limited to managing researchers, copyeditors, illustrators, designers, and other consultants.
Develop, facilitate, and improve staff and fellow activities, including trainings, strategic planning, and meetings.
Seek out and champion opportunities to further diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-oppression in organizational systems and development.
Coordinate CCP fellows across multiple academic institutions and organizations.
Manage contracting and accounts payable systems, ensuring that our fellows, contractors, and community and peer reviewers are compensated in a timely manner.
Support the Executive Director on fundraising and grants management.
Support the Executive Director in developing the annual organizational budget development and management process.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist on research projects, communications, and administrative tasks, as it relates to the candidate’s expertise.
Other duties, as assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 4 years relevant experience or, if no Bachelor’s degree, an additional 5 years of relevant experience.

Organizational Relationship: The Part Time Operations Manager reports to the Executive Director, and collaborates with other staff, consultants, and partners.
Location: This is a fully remote position with the selected candidate needing to be located within the United States. Some travel will be expected.
Time: This is a part-time, non-exempt position working an average of 20-25 hours a week.
Physical Demands: Ability to work at a computer for 4-8 hours per day. Also, requires frequent communication with others including hearing and speaking clearly with adults. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
