Great Minds, a rapidly growing non-profit organization developing world-class curricula for grades PK-12, seeks a Sales Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic, dedicated team. The Sales Administration Assistant is a newly created and vitally important role at Great Minds. This new role will be responsible for supporting sales staff by providing administrative, clerical, and customer support. Working under the direction of the Director of Sales, the Sales Administration Assistant’s specific responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:
Executive Assistant Functions and General Office Responsibilities
Providing support in scheduling, research, writing, and editing duties, as well as running small errands.
Ordering and sending marketing materials and samples to prospective clients and events when required.
Proofreading material such as sales contracts and collateral prior to sending out to clients.
Capturing internal meeting minutes with follow up summaries.

Providing administrative and logistical support for Great Minds sponsored events, including scheduling, coordination with partners or clients, preparation of materials, and occasional on-site support and travel arrangements.
Customer Service
Participating as needed on the Customer Success team with handling incoming calls, voicemails, and emails regarding online curriculum offerings, order placement, and website navigation
Routing customer inquiries on specific content-related items to appropriate members of the Great Minds team for response.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of two years of experience in an administrative role – ideally in a Sales or Marketing Department
Must be able to manage multiple and often conflicting priorities
Must exhibit a positive, “can do” attitude, with an eagerness to learn
Demonstrates an aptitude for problem solving
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills
Possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Be service oriented with an excellent phone etiquette
Experience in team environment
Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and desire to work in a small, rapidly growing company

Details:
Full-time, Exempt
Excellent Benefits package
$28K-30K based on experience
Based in Washington DC near the Navy Yard Metro.
