Program Assistant, Cyberspace Cooperation Initiative – Observer Research Foundation America – Washington

Job Summary
The Program Assistant will provide administrative, logistical, and research support for the Cyberspace Cooperation Initiative, in particular the Global Cyber Policy Dialogues project. This is a five-month contract position. International travel is required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Support the preparation and execution of events as part of the project, including preparing background and meeting materials, assisting with organizational and logistical tasks, agenda setting, and notetaking
· Identify potential participants and speakers, maintain database, handle registration and communication with participants including travel arrangements
· Assist with research for the Global Cyber Policy Dialogues including contributing to background briefs, meeting reports, and event write ups
· Monitor current policy, technology, and business developments related to ICT security and attend relevant events
· Provide administrative and operational support for the initiative and assist with other assignments as requested

Qualifications:
College degree in international relations or related field and 1-2 years of administrative and/or program support experience; or a graduate degree
Familiarity with cyber policy issues is an asset
Experience with meeting and event planning desirable
Able to prioritize, work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and perform in a fast-paced international environment
Communicative, team player, and fluency in both written and spoken English
Strong writing skills and attention to detail
Reliable, positive, open-minded, and self-starter
Computer skills: Office365 and Google Workspace; Internet-research and database savvy
Eligibility to work in the United States
