Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as the overall administrator for the coalition, driving impact and directing outcomes within each initiative in partnership with staff, steering committee, community partners, and volunteers.
Administer, implement, and strategically direct the collective impact work of the coalition.
Work in partnership with the RSSC Steering Committee, Backbone partners, and others to identify new partnerships, projects, and or other opportunities that improve the lives of South Stockton residents.
Maintain a good working relationship and partnership with Tides and ensures RSSC follows all Tides processes and procedures; Ensures RSSC is using the Tides Project Advisor as a resource
Develop, adopt, and implement Collective Impact strategies and other initiatives.
Develop and implement civic engagement strategies and resident empowerment initiatives.
Develop and implement a communications strategy for the coalition and community.
Direct fundraising and sustainability initiatives to operationalize the work of the coalition and its partners.
Direct the creation, synthesis, and analysis of data through Census data, surveys, interviews, etc. in the creation of reports, presentations, and campaigns around key indicators in the Cradle to Career continuum.
Provide staff with clear direction, set appropriate work standards, and ensure a fair and healthy work environment.
Create awareness and advocate for the strengths/needs of South Stockton and inspire support for policies and priorities that serve poor people throughout the community.
Develop partnerships with community advocates promoting social justice and racial equity, environmental justice, sustainable land use and transportation, civil rights, and other groups that may support our mission.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with members and member organizations. Develop strategies to support and encourage member participation in RSSC activities.
Provide oversight and supervision of staff and program activities including advocacy, leadership, fundraising, finance, and administration. Ensure that all members of the workforce have direction and understand the goals, policies, and procedures of RSSC and Tides Center and that all applicable employment laws are followed.
