Communications Associate – Coalition for Asian American Children and Families – New York

Description/Responsibilities
CACF is currently seeking a Communications Associate to assist the Communications and Outreach Coordinator with social media management and media outreach. Specific responsibilities include:
Working with Communications and Outreach Coordinator to implement social media plan that raises awareness of CACF’s mission and work
Creating social media posts and graphics using Canva
Assisting in the ongoing development of CACF’s social media calendar
Performing basic media outreach
Track news about CACF’s policy areas
Working with Development Associate to create communications that engage existing and potential donors
Working with Program and Policy teams to best promote their campaigns and events
Assisting with website management and updates
Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications, Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; persuasive communicator with a keen eye for detail.
Interest in and willingness to learn more about the issues affecting the AAPI community
