WSCUC is the WASC Senior College and University Commission, the accrediting body for four-year and above postsecondary institutions in California, Hawai’i and designated Pacific Island territories. Think accreditation sounds boring – it isn’t! Help support the over 350 volunteer evaluators from campuses as large as UCLA and as small as the American Conservatory Theater. Learn how the landscape of higher education is changing in America. Support the 30+ Commissioners who volunteer their time to formulate policy and monitor operations.
The Manager is responsible for all aspects of WSCUC’s accounting system and performance, annual audit, staff benefits administration, grant accounting, and related business operations. The Manager supports the COO and President with financial planning, budget modeling, preparation, and management, and Commission committee support. There is significant room for growth in the position in the immediate future.
Must have proficiency in QuickBooks, with seven+ years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping. A four-year degree is required, but a combination of work experience and other credentials may be substituted. Experience in another non-profit preferred.
