Job description
Seattle Opera is accepting applications for the position of Financial Services Coordinator. This 40 hour-a-week full-time, hourly position reports to the Director of Marketing.

This multi-task position, reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, is a member of the Communications and Marketing Group, and plays a key role in reporting all department income and expenditures as well as coordinating our BRAVO! Club members.

Process and coordinate timely payment of all vendor invoices and Purchase orders;
Enter all encumbrances into various spreadsheets; reconcile all expense and income accounts for marketing and communications with finance department
Track, prepare and allocate cash disbursement requests and journal entries and prepare accurate financial data as requested by Marketing or Finance Department
Timely and accurate entry of BRAVO! Club membership dues received online, at events, or from Direct Sales;
Corresponds with club members about ticket discounts, events, intermission receptions, and general membership inquiries;
Timely and accurate subscription and donation entry for Direct Sales.
Performs account maintenance in Tessitura including account changes, adding do not calls to customer accounts as needed, scanning lead responses in Tessitura and other general Tessitura maintenance as needed for Direct Sales.
Provide weekly reports for Direct Sales and BRAVO!
Support Direct Sales Staff by providing materials required (example price charts) and provides Tessitura and phone support as needed
Runs Concierge Desk for Preferred Subscribers at McCaw Hall, in conjunction with Subscriber Relations Coordinator
Provides administrative support for the marketing/PR areas as needed.

Experience with databases and financial data entry. Experience in dealing with the public, either in retail or customer service.
Microsoft Office Suite, Extensive use of Excel, CRM software experience helpful (Tessitura preferred), Accounting software experience helpful.
Must have a calm professional demeanor and able to work effectively with a diverse group of people. Must have ability to work with financial documents with utmost accuracy.
Must be detail oriented, resourceful, a creative thinker with collaborative approach to working with others, and an ability to learn new skills.
Bachelor Degree in Business or Liberal Arts preferred. Equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted.

Schedule varies depending on performance schedule and BRAVO! events; typically 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday for non-performance weeks. On performance or BRAVO! event dates, on site presence is required possibly until after performance ends. Must be flexible during performance runs. Must be flexible during events and performance periods. Employee will make own, suitable transportation arrangements.
