Since 1987, we have served the San Francisco community by providing compassionate end of life care for those facing advanced illness and their loved ones. We are currently seeking a Financial Assistant to work part time (20 hours per week) in our guest house and support the daily financial operations. The Financial Assistant will be responsible for:

Preparing standardized financial reporting and data collection

Supporting ongoing maintenance and enhancement of reporting

Reconciling bank statements and preparing for month-end close

Accounts Payable

Managing the biweekly payroll process and reviewing hourly timesheets

Serving as a liaison between Zen Hospice Project and vendors

Other areas as assigned

You may be the exact person we are searching for if you possess the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university

Minimum of three years of accounting experience

Strongly proficient in the use of Excel and QuickBooks

Proficient in the use of ADP payroll software is highly desired
