Excel Expert – Financial / Budget Specialist – New York – NonProfit People Search

This role will allow you to support and work closely with several departments (Grant Managers, Accounting, IT and Departmental Budget Managers) to provide organizational budget management, preparation of external financial donor reports, and develop budgets for donor proposals. The majority of the work entails the design, building, testing, and implementation of highly complex, powerful, and dynamic financial models in MS Excel.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, 4+ years of related experience and expert proficiency in Excel with knowledge of pivot tables and complex formulas. A collaborative work style based on open, transparent, continual communication, sharing, and inclusive decision-making coupled with a solution-oriented and proactive approach are a must. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) and strong computer skills are a required.
