Accounts Payable Coordinator – Alter Eco – San Francisco, CA

Alter Eco Americas is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to perform accounting functions related to transactions with vendors. This would include receiving, organizing and submitting bills for approval, entering bills, processing of bill payments, reviewing statements and corresponding with vendors via e-mail and phone. Will also prepare ad-hoc reports related to payables/vendor transactions.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

2+ years Accounts Payable and/or Accounting experience.
General understanding of accounting practices and principles.
Experience with automated accounting programs and systems.
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent computer skills using 10-Key by touch.
Must possess proficient ability to communicate in English in oral and written format.
Ability to apply discretion and trust with confidential material.
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial data.
Ability to effectively apply analytical and problem solving skills.
Very detailed and must be excellent at following-up on problems.
Excellent time managing skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
