Job description
Accounting Manager ~ Responsible for all financial reporting matters including, but not limited to the following: Posting transactions in QuickBooks; Preparing bank and credit card reconciliations; Recording and posting adjusting journal entries; Analysis of daily cash flow; Preparing monthly financial statement reports (P&L budget to actuals, cash flow and balance sheet) to be presented to the Board of Trustees; Posting payroll in QuickBooks; Posting all accounts payable/accounts receivable activity; Interacting with peers on grant submissions; Other duties as assigned. This position is full time (40 hours per week, Monday through Friday) and the candidate will report directly to the Executive Director.

Qualifications: The following is required: Proficiency in QuickBooks; Knowledge of general accounting principles, journal entries and financial reporting; Experience working with budgets, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, etc.; Ability to keep information confidential; Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verablly and in writing; Experience utilizing Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).

The candidate must be organized and detail oriented and demonstrate the ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism. He or she must have a valid New Jersey’s Drivers license.
