Development & Communications Coordinators – Manchester – Old Sol Music Hall

Old Sol Music Hall, Inc. seeks a full-time Development Coordinator to start on August 8, 2016 and to serve for one full year, supporting the venue’s capital campaign and the organization’s ongoing fundraising efforts. During the lead-up to the Old Sol Music Hall’s opening, this Concert Corps national service member will:

Coordinate grant writing and create a grant tracking tool for future years;
Assist with the development of donor marketing publications and communications including letters, brochures, website postings, electronic mail and other media;
Support the planning and lead the implementation of donor cultivation events; and
Create systems for cultivating and managing membership and sponsorship programs.
Old Sol Music Hall, Inc. seeks a full-time Communications Coordinator to start on August 8, 2016 and to serve for one full year in support of the organization’s messaging, branding, and marketing efforts. During the lead-up to the Old Sol Music Hall’s opening, this Concert Corps national service member will:

Manage, write and develop strategy for content for social media, newsletter, blog, website, podcast, earned and paid media, and other promotional materials;
Design marketing materials and recruit volunteers to help as needed;
Manage volunteers working on social media, creative, and web; and
Continue to refine and improve communications, social media, and outreach strategy.
Concert Corps, a team of national service volunteers serving at Old Sol Music Hall, will build critical capacity for the organization during its founding year. Concert Corps members will start on August 8, 2016 and serve for one full year, helping to establish Old Sol Music Hall’s reputation in Greater Manchester, generating resources, developing systems, building partnerships, organizing events, and serving as community ambassadors for the organization while the physical music hall is being renovated.

Concert Corps members are hard-working, self-starting, music-loving, service-driven individuals who are passionate about leveraging the arts to create positive social impact. Concert Corps members serve in a collaborative team setting during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm), based out of Old Sol Music Hall’s offices in Manchester, New Hampshire. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.

All Concert Corps candidates should demonstrate:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
The ability to work independently and with a team;
Proactive, entrepreneurial spirit and positive attitude;
High degree of integrity and professionalism; and
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
