Position Overview
Bio-Logical Capital is seeking a Special Projects Coordinator to join the company’s Denver-based team. The Coordinator will report to and work closely with both the Chief of Staff (COS) and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and support them in business development, project financial modeling and analysis, and office administration support. We seek candidates who are strong writers and who have excellent analyst and business planning skills. We are interested in candidates who are strategists and systems thinkers, and who can maintain a broad focus on our mission while digging into essential hands-on work. We seek applicants who feel committed to developing regenerative land use models that increase the value and health of land, the vibrancy and resiliency of communities, and the consistency of earnings and returns.

The Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the COS, CEO, and other Bio-Logical Capital team members in all daily activities, and ensuring that they are well prepared for all activities in the day, week, month, and year. Additionally, the Coordinator will use his or her financial modeling skills to help our team create mixed-use plans for large landscapes that integrate renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, water stewardship, and healthy human habit. In this role, the Coordinator will be expected to instill our culture, mission and goals in everything the Coordinator does, and inspire others to do the same.

Primary Responsibilities
Conduct research, perform analysis, and present to COS and CEO to ensure objective and complete information is available for decision making. Solicit information and recommendations from other Executive Officers in that process
Develop and manage financial budgets for current projects
Develop and analyze financial models for prospective projects
Draft routine correspondence including memos, letters, emails, contracts, and reports as needed
Responsible for processing invoices, pay applications and review funding draws
Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with clients, investors, project staff, vendors and all members of various project teams
Assist in the preparation of weekly, monthly and annual investor reports
Schedule and organize meetings and conference calls
Prepare and process Travel and Expense Reports for team members
Primary point of contact for office management vendors (Box, Gmail, Salesforce, Verizon, etc), including managing contract terms, approving invoices, scheduling appointments, etc.
Support CEO and COS in daily activities to ensure they are prepared for meetings, speaking engagements, travel, and other events
Coordinate all details of, prepare staff for, and attend various executive meetings; record, transcribe and distribute minutes of those meetings; follow-up to ensure timely completion of actions and projects.
Support other Company Executives as needed
Some travel to project sites and business meetings (including overnight and out of state travel) will be required

Candidate/Postion Qualifications
Passion for sustainable land-based businesses
A Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or law preferred
3+ years of relevant experience in a corporate setting
High emotional intelligence
Excellent analyst and business planning skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to juggle competing priorities with elegance. Unflappable in unexpected situations or when demands and priorities change
Ability to professionally interact with a broad range of clientele/relationships
Exceptional work ethic and ability to accomplish objectives with little daily supervision and distraction; yet, not afraid to ask for help when needed
High level of discretion and diplomacy
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and systematic, accuracy-driven approach
As comfortable touring a farm in work boots as in a corporate office setting
Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Mac operating systems preferred
