RTH SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAM QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate must meet the qualifications for Summer Enrichment Teacher as specified by the Early Education and Care for Children — 1) Have a Bachelor’s Degree or an Associate’s Degree; and have 9 months of experience working with school age children; or 2) Have a high school diploma or equivalent; and have 12 months experience working with school age children including 3 months supervised experience at a school age child care program. A demonstrated interest and commitment to working with children and families is necessary. Experience in designing and leading activities for children is strongly preferred. (Job Begins: June 27th- End Date: Aug 26th 2016) Mandatory Trainings Dates June 15th-June 18th Shifts to be determined

GENERAL DUTIES
Responsible for the daily planning and implementation of small group activities and direct supervision of children. Actively participates in both small and large group activities. Summer Enrichment Teachers work approximately 40 hours per week/ hours may vary 8 hour shifts.

SPECIFIC DUTIES
Responsible for designing and leading small group activities to meet the social, educational, and recreational interests and needs of school age children.
Responsible for providing a consistent, structured daily program activities and participate in and supervisor these activities.
Assist with: serving meals and cleaning the facilities used by the S.E.P.
Responsible for the observation, recording, and reporting of significant individual and group behaviors.
Responsible for maintaining a safe, welcoming and clean group room environment.
Attends program events, staff meetings, group supervision sessions, and participates in trainings as recommended by the Program Director.
Assume duties and responsibilities in the absent of the Program Director
Coordinate the preparation and Lead all field trips
Responsible for getting into water and Swimming with Children at all times
Any new hire must present the following prior employment start date:

§ Evidence of a physical examination within 12 months or employment
§ Immunity to MMR and a negative Mantoux Test ( TB)
The hourly rate for this position is based on experience. No health benefits applied to position
