Program Coordination Intern – Playing For Change Foundation

DESCRIPTION
Playing For Change Foundation is launching a new initiative as an ongoing effort of creating positive change through music – Sister Schools For Change Program. Through this new program, we aim to build sister schools relationships between elementary and secondary schools in the United States and PFCF international programs, focusing on cross cultural experiences, community development, social justice, and humanitarian aid aligning the organization’s mission. Here are some of the main duties and responsibilities:
Research, outreach and provide support to other tasks related to the new initiative of Sister Schools For Change
Communicate and coordinate with PFCF international schools and programs for project based work
Collect quantitative and qualitative data from PFCF programs regularly, including students attendance, program evaluations, photo and video content etc.
Assist with office administrative tasks
Provide support for events and fundraisers if needed

Requirements:
College student with background in global studies, international relations, education, non profit or related fields.
Strong computer skills (Mac or PC) – proficient in Word, Excel, Adobe Reader (Photoshop and Illustrator a plus)
Able to bring in and work on your own laptop
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Efficient web browsing and information research skills
Office administrative experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and coordinate well with other team members
Must be able to multi-task and remain flexible with day-to-day responsibilities
Love for music and the arts are always a plus!
MUST live in the LA area, or plan to live there by beginning of internship term
Preference will be given to those available to commit to 15-20 hours per week.
