We are currently recruiting for a full-timeProfessional Programs Coordinatorbased in the Education department’s Manhattan office located at 26 Bleecker Street, New York, NY 10012.

This is an exempt position reporting to the Professional Programs Manager.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for working with a growing and dynamic Education team and working closely with the Director of Adult and Professional Programs, Associate Director, and Professional Programs Manager to accomplish professional and capacity building program deliverables. This includes developing training designs, conducting on-and off-site trainings for partner organizations, building and maintaining community partnerships, and providing technical assistance to professionals through in-person site visits, phone, email, and webinars. The Professional Programs Coordinator also coordinates daily logistics of capacity building projects, including regular communication with partner organizations. With the Professional Programs Manager, the Coordinator monitors program progress and completes funder reports. Additionally, the Coordinator serves as a trainer for the Training Institute and stays abreast of current research on sexuality and reproductive health and capacity building. The Coordinator assists the Manager with other adult and professional program duties as needed and participates in related projects within the Education Department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Human Sexuality or other related field. Master’s degree preferred. Requires two (2) to three (3) years of experience providing educational workshops, presentations and trainings. Must have outstanding oral and written communications skills, experience with diverse populations and knowledge about sexual and reproductive health. Bilingual, Spanish/English preferred.

Willingness to travel extensively within the five boroughs. Flexibility in work schedule a must; mornings, evenings, and weekends on occasion.
