We are looking for a pleasant, energetic and professional candidate to fill the position of Office Coordinator.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Executive Assistant & HR Coordinator, the Office Coordinator is the face of the Jewish Federation. This position manages the reception desk, main phone line and mail distribution as well as providing administrative support to the Executive Assistant & HR Coordinator and Director of Evaluation & Engagement. The Office Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of unrelated tasks including, but not limited to, meeting support, preparation of cash logs, credit card reports and b’nai mitzvah certificates and ordering supplies.

QUALIFICATIONS

1 year minimum office administration experience

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Comfortable command of Microsoft Office Suite as well as other technology tools

Excellent interpersonal skills; team player within a diverse working environment; dependable

Strong customer services skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands

Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to learn quickly, set priorities and work independently

Possess common sense and good judgment

Professional demeanor and ability to handle all situations in a calm manner

High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidential information

Able to anticipate, identify, analyze and solve problems

Strong follow through skills

Experience with nonprofit organizations a plus

Knowledge of the Jewish community a plus
