POSITION TITLE: Director, Center for Resources & Support

REPORTS TO: National Programs Director

FLSA STATUS: Exempt; Full-time – Based in Seattle, WA

Position Summary

The Director of The Center for Resources and Support at The Moyer Foundation is responsible for the planning, development, oversight, and growth of the Foundation’s newest program initiative. The Center will be a central resource hub, complete with a robust website, as well as dedicated staff, who will provide resources and referrals to children, teens, and families impacted by grief and family addiction. This position will be an integral member of TMF’s Programming Team and will lead and represent the Center in strategic partnership and resource development – both locally and nationally.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Create and provide strategic oversight and direction of The Center for Resources & Support.
Research, develop and manage partnerships with local and national organizations to maintain breadth and depth of resources and referral services offered by the Center.
Provide direct and personalized support to individuals, families, social service organizations, partners, and others who will access the Center via phone and email.
Establish mutually beneficial contracts and Memorandums of Understanding with strategic partner organizations.
Work closely with the National Programs Director, and the TMF Programming and Communications teams on the direction and maintenance of the Center’s web presence.
Provide education and outreach about the Center to local and national organizations.
Manage the Center’s Task Force Committee.

Establish ongoing communications and outreach with the Center’s supporters and donors.

Qualifications

Understanding of – and experience in – bereavement and/or substance abuse fields (or other closely related social service experience) of value.
Ability to be flexible, creative and comfortable building a project from the ground up.
Ability to appropriately assess and assist individuals and families in need.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to make informative and engaging presentations.
Strong organizational and project management skills, including attention to detail.
Ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as take direction from other team members.
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
A demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and be composed under pressure.
Occasional travel required.
