Case Supervisor – Worcester – Leadership Transitions

Job description
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Worcester, Massachusetts is a nonprofit organization committed to speaking for the best interests of abused and neglected children in the Worcester County Courts.

Each year, approximately 1,200 abused, neglected or exploited children are referred to the juvenile justice system because they cannot live safely at home. Most are younger than 11 years old. All are hurt, frightened, and confused. Almost all live in poverty.

Each year hundreds of extraordinary people from all walks of life volunteer to serve the best interests of these children as Court Appointed Special Advocates/Guardian Ad Litem. Yet in 2015, less than half of the children in the Worcester County court system received a CASA advocate.

The CASA Board of Directors has committed to growing the organization to ensure a sufficient corps of advocates for all children – recruiting and training volunteers to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates.

To support this effort, the CASA Project is seeking a full-time Case Supervisor to manage volunteers appointed to advocate for children living in foster care.
